Shrug alperce

A Dawn está já toda tricotada mas estou presa nos acabamentos: descobri que tenho de reajustar/recoser a gola se não quiser que as frentes do casaco fiquem pingonas. Como entretanto tinha iniciado outro projecto que entretanto também já terminei, é esse que vos venho mostrar hoje. Eu tenho sempre dois (e mais) projectos em mãos ao mesmo tempo porque há momentos em que não me apetece pegar nos acabamentos, geralmente à noite, por questões de espaço ou de luz, e aí sabe bem despachar trabalho noutro projecto. Não sei se também se passa o mesmo convosco...

Dawn is already all knitted but I’m still stuck in the finishing: I must re-attach the neckline, otherwise the fronts will get too baggy. This is a project I'd started meanwhile that is already also finished.
I always have two or more projects on needles because there are moments when I don’t feel in the mood to dedicate to finishing details, mainly at night, and it feels me better simply keep going on knitting another project.

Fio: Schachenmayr Catania 100% algodão (50g/125m) – 225g em cor alperce #235
Agulhas: 3,5 mm

Um shrug muito fácil de fazer: é tricotado em duas metades que se unem com a ténica da costura invisível (grafting) e depois costuram-se alguns centímentros de cada lado para fazer as mangas.

This shrug is a very simple knitting: two halves joined by grafting and sewing on each side to make the sleeves.

Uma peça muito agradável e prática para usar no Verão, quando está calor mas apetece algum aconchego sobre a roupa sem mangas, mas que também consigo imaginar em mohair, numa versão mangas compridas, para usar no Outono por cima de camiseiros ou vestidos.

A very nice and practical piece to wear on summer, when it’s hot and it feels good some cosiness over sleeveless clothes, which I can also imagine in mohair with long sleeves, to be wear on fall over blouses or dresses.
